How it was built

For an NLP course assignment I wrote a small pizza-ordering chatbot on ChatterBot. The main work is a hand-written logic adapter that takes over the conversation whenever an order is under way and dispatches on eight order stages and eleven intent types, so a user can pick a specialty or custom pizza, choose size and toppings, give delivery and payment details, and see a summary. Summary, cancel and menu requests work from any stage. A short conversation-pair training set handles small talk. Limits: one notebook, an exercise rather than a product.
